On arrival, you will be welcome by our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Lunch will be serve at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, start a city tour of some major sights of Phnom Penh. You will visit the National Museum, in which there is an attractive collection of ancient Khmer art: The sandstone sculptures dating from both the Angkorean and pre-Angkorean eras. You will also visit Royal Palace, the sacred Silver Pagoda, which is well known for its 5000 silver tiled floor. Heading out of this area. You will follow your trip to Wat Phnom The symbol of Phnom Penh.

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, you will explore the capital city with the bustling Central Market, the Independence Monument, WatOunalom. Set-Lunch at local restaurant. Then we continue our trip to the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious “Killing Fields” of ChoeungEk, which provides a deep Insight into the painful rule of the Khmer Rouge.

Reserve online and pay the CAD $300 per-person deposit right away (unless a different amount is stated for this tour) — that secures your booking. We then confirm availability, usually within 24 hours, and update your booking status — if we cannot confirm your reservation, your deposit is refunded in full. The balance is due 30 days before departure. The deposit option applies to bookings made more than 60 days before departure — within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at booking.

The hotel is in the old commercial heart of Phnom Penh on Street 130, close to the Central Market and the Sorya bus station (500 m), with the Tonle Sap riverside 700 m away and the National Museum and Royal Palace 1–1.5 km. Its 63 air-conditioned rooms have a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, work desk, safe and en-suite bathroom, some with balcony.
Breakfast is cooked to order and the in-house restaurant (Chinese cuisine) runs from breakfast to dinner, with a lounge bar; the hotel has a fitness room, 24-hour front desk, concierge, room service, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and can arrange a paid airport shuttle. The City River Hotel stands on Achasvar Street beside the Siem Reap River, in the quiet Wat Bo neighbourhood; the bars and restaurants of Pub Street and the Old Market are roughly a 10-minute walk across the river, Wat Bo pagoda is about 500 m away and the Angkor temples are a short drive north. The hotel opened in 2004 and was refurbished in 2018; its 65 rooms (deluxe and superior, many with balconies) have air conditioning, minibar, safe and satellite TV.
The rooftop pool with its poolside bar is the hotel's main draw. Breakfast and Khmer and Western meals are served in the restaurant, room service runs during set hours, and there is a traditional Khmer massage centre.
