Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, begin your journey with visits to Pigeon Square and Union Square. Continue with a relaxing stroll along Miami Beach Boulevard, taking in the city’s coastal atmosphere and local scenery.

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Marrakech, famously known as the Red City. Upon arrival, begin exploring some of the city’s most iconic landmarks:

Bahia Palace (entrance included)
Built in the 16th century, Bahia Palace is one of the few well-preserved royal palaces in Morocco that is open to the public. The palace features beautiful gardens, elegant courtyards, magnificent rooms, and fountains, with every space carefully designed. The size of each room reflected the level of favor shown to the king’s wives, while each wife’s room also had its own private courtyard.

Yves Saint Laurent Garden (entrance included)
Visit the famous private garden purchased by renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé in Marrakech. This peaceful garden served as a retreat for the legendary French designer and is widely known as the “Garden of North Africa.”

Koutoubia Mosque (exterior view)
Admire the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in North Africa. Built in the 11th century, the mosque features 17 colonnades positioned perpendicular to the direction of Mecca’s pilgrimage route. Light channels surround the alcove and the two side wings, allowing the honeycomb-shaped wooden “mukhnas” sculptures to be placed at a lower level. This unique and beautiful design was rarely seen in later architecture.

Diwali Square
Visit Diwali Square, a world-renowned tourist destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The square is famous for its lively nighttime atmosphere, including food stalls, street performers, snake charmers, and storytellers. In ancient times, camel caravans crossing the Sahara Desert would arrive in Marrakech as if reaching paradise, giving the city its nickname: “the happiest city that never sleeps.”

After breakfast, depart for Ait Benhaddou Village for a guided visit.

Ait Benhaddou Village
Ait Benhaddou is a remarkable village where homes are built on rocky terrain using clay, water, and straw, creating castle-like structures that look as if they came from an Arabian fairy tale. The old town of Ait Benhaddou has long been regarded as one of Africa’s finest architectural masterpieces, often compared to the Great Pyramids of Giza for its unique charm and cultural significance.

Built with red clay and straw, the village features fortress-style residences and castle-like granaries. It is the best-preserved ancient village in southern Morocco and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Ait Benhaddou has also long attracted Hollywood filmmakers, with its historic walls appearing in at least 20 films, including Gladiator, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and The Mummy. Known for its breathtaking beauty and cinematic atmosphere, it has earned the title of “Morocco’s Most Beautiful Village.”

Ouarzazate
Continue to Ouarzazate, once a rest and vacation spot for French troops in Morocco. Today, it has transformed into a major desert tourism destination and an important film set and production center. Visit Morocco’s famous “film city,” where you can step into the real filming locations and sets of classic Hollywood blockbusters.

After breakfast, drive to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, visit:

Todra Canyon
At the bottom of Todra Canyon, the riverbed is lush with willows, flowers, and various trees swaying gently in the breeze, creating a breathtaking natural landscape. In contrast, the surrounding area is a barren and desolate reddish-brown desert, forming a striking and unforgettable scene.

Sahara Desert
Formed approximately 2.5 million years ago, the Sahara Desert is the world’s second-largest desert after Antarctica and the largest hot desert in the world. The name “Sahara” comes from the Arabic word for “great desert,” originating from the language of the Tuareg nomadic people.

Camel Riding in the Desert
Ride camels into the desert and begin a magical journey through the Sahara. Please bring sunscreen and sunglasses for protection. With a bit of luck, you may witness the breathtaking colors of a Sahara sunrise or sunset. This part of the desert is especially unique, known for its diverse sand dunes and the way they glow in different shades of gold and pink depending on the natural light.

Guests may also choose to relax at the hotel or take a walk around the area while enjoying panoramic views of the vast desert.

Before dawn, enjoy the unforgettable sight of the sun slowly rising over the vast Sahara Desert. Wander through the golden dunes and enjoy breakfast in the desert before continuing the journey into the Atlas Mountains region.

Along the way, admire the stunning valley scenery, whose grandeur rivals that of the Grand Canyon. Lunch will be arranged in Midt en route.

Ifrane Town
After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, travel to Ifrane, known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland.” Located at an altitude of over 1,600 meters in the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifrane enjoys cool summers and snowy winters, making it a popular resort destination for skiing and escaping the heat. The town is known for its European-style hotels, resorts, and villas, as well as its clean and orderly streets.

Fez Old City
Step back in time on a journey through the thousand-year-old city of Fez, where donkeys are still commonly used as a primary mode of transportation. Explore the fascinating medieval old town and experience its historic charm.

Blue Gate of Boujlou
Visit the famous Blue Gate of Boujlou, also known simply as the Blue Gate. It marks the starting point of two of the city’s most important roads and serves as the main entrance for most visitors. The outer side of the gate is decorated with beautiful blue mosaic tiles, while the inner side features a vibrant emerald green, known as “Islamic green.”

University of Karaouine (exterior view only)
View the exterior of the University of Karaouine, regarded as the first university in the Quran and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. Entry is permitted only to Muslims who can recite the Quran. Continue to visit Mederssa Bou Inania (Quranic Institute), Fountain Nejjarine, and the exterior of Zaouia Moulay Driss, associated with the builders of the ancient city. Muslims who can recite the Quran are allowed entry.

The Great Dyeing Vat
Visit the famous Great Dyeing Vat, one of the most iconic sights in Fez. As the saying goes, a trip to Morocco is incomplete without visiting the tanneries of its ancient cities, just as a trip to China is incomplete without seeing the Great Wall. The tanneries of Fez still use ancient dyeing techniques, preserving traditional methods such as hand-rubbing and natural air-drying to bring out the natural plant-based colors of the leather. The vivid colors of the tanneries are truly the essence of the old city.

After breakfast, visit Chefchaouen, a charming pale-blue mountain town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Originally built as a fortress in the 15th century, Chefchaouen is separated from Spain only by the Strait of Gibraltar, so its customs and language have been strongly influenced by Spanish culture.

The town is famous for its pale-blue buildings, white walls, and red wavy tiled roofs inspired by Andalusian architecture, creating the feeling of being on a Mediterranean island. The blue color seems as if it has been poured down from the sky, painting the entire town in a dreamy and vibrant shade. Some even say, “After returning from Chefchaouen, Morocco, I never wanted to go to Greece again!” Chefchaouen is truly a romantic and beautiful city.

After lunch, travel to Tangier and visit the following attractions:

Cave of Africa (entrance included)
Locally known as the “Hercules Cave” or “African Cave,” this site is one of Tangier’s most unique natural wonders. Although the cave itself is not large, its entrance bears a remarkable resemblance to the map of Africa, even including the shape of Madagascar. What makes it even more fascinating is that the opening was naturally formed over thousands of years by waves striking the rocks.

Cape Spartel Lighthouse (viewed from afar)
View the Cape Spartel Lighthouse, located at Cape Spartel, about 12 kilometers west of Tangier, at the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar and at an altitude of approximately 300 meters. Cape Spartel is the westernmost point of the African continent. Facing the vast ocean, the towering lighthouse can be clearly seen from a distance.

At night, the light at the top shines brightly, helping passing ships adjust their course. Tourists often take photos with the lighthouse as a beautiful backdrop. Another special feature of this location is that from here, you can clearly identify the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the east. On a clear day, you may even be able to see Spain from the top of the tower.

After breakfast, travel to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, and visit the following highlights:

Rabat Royal Palace (exterior view)
Located in the heart of Rabat, the Rabat Royal Palace began construction in 1785 and covers an area of 2 square kilometers. It is a classic example of Arab palace architecture. The palace complex features different architectural styles, with Riad Palace being the most magnificent.

Hassan Tower (exterior view)
Built in 1196 by the Al-Mahad dynasty, Hassan Tower is part of a majestic and elegant architectural complex. It showcases the exquisite craftsmanship, distinctive architectural style, and decorative artistry of Arab Muslim architecture.

Mausoleum of Muhammad V
Visit the Mausoleum of Muhammad V, located in the center of Rabat. The entire complex is grand and elegant, reflecting the refined craftsmanship, unique architectural style, and decorative art of Arab Muslims. The tomb is exceptionally luxurious, with all the wood made of sandalwood.

Udaya Citadel
Explore the Udaya Citadel, located east of Rabat’s old city at the mouth of the Bou Regg River, along the Atlantic Ocean. This ancient fortress complex is one of Rabat’s most distinctive historic sites.

The existing Kasbah of the Udayas is open to the public in three main sections. The first is the inner garden, built by King Ismail in the 17th century. It is small, elegant, and filled with lush flowers and trees, representing typical Andalusian garden architecture. The second section is the museum, which is divided into two exhibition halls: one displaying jewelry and musical instruments from various dynasties, and the other showcasing traditional costumes from different periods, including Berber, Sahara, and Moroccan Jewish clothing, along with ancient copper and earthenware vessels. The third section is the elevated platform, which is the remains of an ancient aerial market. From the platform, guests can overlook the Bou Regg River estuary, the ancient port of Rabat, and enjoy a panoramic view of Salé. The Kasbah of the Udayas also preserves Berber houses and streets, each with its own unique style.

After the tour, continue the journey to Casablanca.

Hassan II Mosque (entrance included)
Located along the Atlantic coast of Dar el-Beida, the Hassan II Mosque is one of the most modern mosques in the world. It was initiated and funded by former King Hassan II of Morocco and is considered a marvel of 20th-century architecture.

The mosque is the third-largest in the Islamic world, covering an area of 2 hectares, measuring 200 meters long and 100 meters wide. Its roof is retractable, and all 25 automatic doors are made of titanium alloy, making them resistant to seawater corrosion. Inside, the marble floors are heated year-round, adding to the mosque’s impressive design and comfort.

The entire mosque can accommodate up to 100,000 worshippers at the same time, making it the third-largest mosque in the world after Mecca.

After the visit, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
