Morocco Tour-8 Days/ 7 Nights

After breakfast, we will visit Hassan II Mosque which is the most modernized in the world, and Mohammed V Square which is known as Pigeon Square.

Later, we will be visiting the iconic building of Marrakech (Distance 240 Km or 2.5 hours) - The vicists include: The Koutoubia Mosque and the exquisite and elegant Bahia Palace, which are adorned with carved and mosaic tiles, is very worthwhile to visit. Following, we wil go to the costume designer Yve Saint Laurent's private garden: Jardin Majorelle. In the evening, you will come to the Square of Sleepless to feel a special infinite vitality of Marrakech!

Hassan II Mosque

The Hassan II Mosque is the third largest mosque in the Islamic world. One-third of it is built on the sea, reportedly in memory of the Arab ancestors who arrived in Morocco from the sea and settled there. Its roof is retractable, and its 25 automatic doors are all made of titanium alloy, resistant to seawater corrosion. Its marble floors are heated year-round, making it one of the most modern mosques in the world. Constructed entirely of white marble, the mosque is inlaid with green glazed tiles and various copper ornaments, adding a touch of vitality to its solemnity. As the only mosque in Morocco open to foreign tourists, visitors are required to remove their shoes and hats upon entry, and non-Muslims are not allowed to visit the main hall.

Square of Mohammed V

Mohammed V Square in Casablanca is popularly referred to as "Pigeons' Square." It seems literally carpeted with pigeons. The square is named for Mohammed V, celebrated former King of Morocco. New buildings went up around the square in the style of Moorish Revival so liked by architect Henri Proust.

Koutoubia Mosque

The Koutoubia Mosque is a landmark of Marrakech, serving as the center and highest point of the old city. A unique feature of the mosque is that when its minaret was built, nearly 10,000 bags of precious spices were mixed into the mud used to hold the stones together. This gave the mosque a rich fragrance that still permeates the air today, earning it the nickname "Tower of Fragrance." The mosque is closed to the public and is open only to Muslims.

Bahia Palace

Bahia Palace blends the exquisite elegance of traditional Islamic architecture with Moroccan flair, showcasing the life of a 19th-century Moroccan aristocratic family. The exquisite mosaics, towering carved arches, precious stone, and ubiquitous fountains and gardens evoke a sense of the splendor and prosperity of yesteryear.

Jardin Majorelle

A French fashion designer named Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé bought Jardin Majorelle in 1980 to preserve the vision of its original owner. The French landscape painter Jacques Majorelle was the original owner, and his mission was to always keep it open to the public. 

Djemaa El Fna

From sunrise to late at night, you can see Indian snake charmers, Arabs selling spiced tea, Moroccan old men telling stories and fortune-telling, various performances, and countless stalls selling food, drinks, clothing, carpets, decorations, leather, and handicrafts. It is like Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong and Xintiandi in Shanghai. Because of this square, Marrakech has infinite vitality.

After breakfast, we will drive to Ouarzazate (Distance 210 Km or approx. 4.5 hours). We will be passing through the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of about 2260 meters. The road is winding in the valleys and steep peaks shows the people the original scenery. We will be taking a few short breaks during the journey so you can get a better glimpse. In the middle, you can enjoy the magnificent river and mountain views! Upon our arrival at the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, we will climb a hill of this village.

Afterwards, we will head to the Atlas Corportation Studio (10 min drive), known as the Hollywood of Africa, where many famous movies were filmed!

Ait-Ben-Haddou

Ait-Ben-Haddou in Morocco is another beautiful destination to discover. It is a fortified village located in the southeast of the country and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Today, Ait-Ben-Haddou is one of the most visited attractions in all of Morocco. Due to its unique architecture and incredibly magical ambience, Ait-Ben-Haddou has already served as a movie set for many well-known films. Including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lawrence of Arabia and more! 

Atlas Corporation Studios

Atlas Studios was built in 1983 and is the first film and television base in North Africa. It is known as the Hollywood of Africa. Many famous movies were shot here: "Gladiator", "The Four Feathers", "Searching for the Stone", "Cleopatra", "Sahara", "Jewel of the Nile", "Lawrence of Arabia", "Spy Game", etc.

Rise and shine! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Merzouga (approximately 360 km, about 6.5 to 8 hours by road). En route, we will pass through the spectacular Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon carved into reddish-brown rock formations, offering breathtaking and rugged scenery along the way.

Upon our arrival at the famous Sahara Desert gate, Merzouga, we will transfer to a 4x4 off-roading vehicle and enter the Sahara Desert to experience a full thrill of excitement! 

Itinerary:

Ouarzazate → Todra Gorge (30 mins) → Sahara Desert (1.5 hours, take an off-road vehicle into the desert, ride on a camel to roam the endless Sahara Desert and enjoy the sunset. Please bring sunscreen and sunglasses)

Todra Gorge

The Todra Canyon is located in the eastern part of the Great Atlas Mountains. Because its four walls are all steep red rocks over 300 meters high rising into the sky, when people walk in it and look up, they can see a narrow gap in the sky at the top of the canyon, allowing only a ray of sunlight at noon to penetrate the valley bottom, forming a spectacular spectacle of golden peaks at the top of the canyon. Therefore, it is known as one of the ten most beautiful canyons in the world.

Sahara Desert

The Sahara Desert, stretching across northern Africa, is the world's largest desert, stretching 4,800 kilometers from east to west and 1,900 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 9.06 million square kilometers. This unique Sahara is renowned for its diverse sand dunes, which display stunning hues of gold, pink, and more, changing with the changing light. The stunning scenery at sunrise and sunset creates a unique Moroccan desert landscape and a dream destination for countless people. Here, you'll find Africa's tallest red sand dunes and was a filming location for the film "Lawrence of Arabia."

Today we will make our way over to the unique city of Fes (475 Km or 7 hours) On the way, we will visit Ifrane, which is known as Morocco's "Little Switzerland." It is a perfect place to discover and filled with unforgettable memories.

Fes (Fez)

Fes is Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart, widely regarded as one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Arab world. Founded in the 8th–9th century, it served as the country’s first imperial capital and remains a living museum of history, tradition, and craftsmanship. Its UNESCO-listed medina, Fes el-Bali, is one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas, where centuries-old streets continue to function much as they did in the Middle Ages.

Nestled in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen, known as Morocco's Blue Pearl, it is one of Morocco’s most picturesque and distinctive towns, renowned for its striking blue-washed streets and relaxed mountain atmosphere. Many house doorways, stairways, and walls are painted a brilliant sky blue. Founded in 1471, it blends Andalusian, Moorish, and Berber influences, creating a unique cultural and architectural identity.   

You can walk along the famous Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the irregular cobblestones create a feeling of being transported to another world. The square's rusted citadel, surrounded by red walls, and the striking. The Blue Medina draws visitors for observation and worship. Other landmarks include: The Spanish Mosque and Chefchaouen Kasbah

Today we will wrap up our pleasant trip to Morocco. Our staff only provides a transfer service from the hotel to the international airport  at 7:00 in the morning.

If the guest has an early flight and needs to leave the hotel before 7 o'clock to the airport, the guide can help the guest take a taxi.
