Welcome to Xi'an, one of China's oldest and most historic cities. Upon arrival at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport or the railway station, you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax after your journey or explore the city at your leisure.
After breakfast, begin your exploration with a visit to the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring thousands of life-sized clay soldiers built to guard China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
After lunch, continue to the Shaanxi History Museum, home to one of China's finest collections of ancient artifacts, showcasing over 5,000 years of Chinese civilization.
Later, stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter (Hui People Street), where you can experience Xi'an's rich cultural heritage, browse traditional shops, and sample a variety of famous local snacks.
Following breakfast, visit the magnificent Ancient City Wall, the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China, offering spectacular views of both historic and modern Xi'an.
Continue to the iconic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important Buddhist landmark dating back to the Tang Dynasty and one of Xi'an's most recognizable symbols.
Next, visit the Banpo Neolithic Village Museum, where you'll discover the remains of a 6,000-year-old settlement and gain insight into early Chinese civilization.
Before returning to your hotel, stop at a Terracotta Sculpture Factory to learn about the traditional craftsmanship involved in creating replica Terracotta Warriors.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before checking out of your hotel. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport or the railway station for your onward journey, bringing your memorable Xi'an adventure to a close.

Reserve online and pay the CAD $300 per-person deposit right away (unless a different amount is stated for this tour) — that secures your booking. We then confirm availability, usually within 24 hours, and update your booking status — if we cannot confirm your reservation, your deposit is refunded in full. The balance is due 30 days before departure. The deposit option applies to bookings made more than 60 days before departure — within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at booking.
Price adjustments (Travel Industry Act, 2002 — O. Reg. 26/05): increases resulting from retail sales or federal tax changes excepted, if the total price rises by more than 7% you may cancel for a full refund — and no price increase is permitted after you have paid in full.
