Opened in September 2024 under Deutsche Hospitality's IntercityHotel brand, run in China by H World, it has 296 rooms and suites plus 22 long-stay serviced apartments; rooms follow a Bauhaus-inspired design with smart controls, a fresh-air ventilation system and a free minibar stocked with local beers.
A restaurant, cafe, bar and lobby bar cover breakfast and drinks, and service robots deliver to rooms. Facilities include a fitness centre, laundry, meeting and function rooms and limited free parking; there is no pool. Paid airport transfers can be arranged. MUMIAN Hangzhou sits on the south bank of the Qiantang River inside The Century City, the former Asian Games athletes' village in Xiaoshan, with the Yaao MixC shopping mall next door and the towers of Qianjiang New City across the water. Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport is about 20 km away, Hangzhou East railway station 10 km and the West Lake roughly 10 km, so it is a 25–40-minute transfer to the classic sights.

Its 333 rooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows on the river or city, plush beds, tea and coffee, rain showers, smart toilets and free Wi-Fi; in line with China's rules the hotel no longer stocks single-use toiletries or bottled water in rooms, so bring your own. Xiao Nan Yang restaurant pairs an Eastern and a Western kitchen and serves breakfast; there is an indoor heated pool on the 6th floor, a 24-hour gym with a yoga room beside the sky garden, a 1,120 m² grand ballroom and a classical pavilion-and-terrace garden. The hotel occupies a tower in the Shidai Tianyuan City complex on Yuhangtang Road, in the tech-park district west of the city where Alibaba's headquarters and Dream Town are neighbours; Xixi Wetland is a short drive, West Lake about 13 km and Hangzhou West Railway Station 3.3 km.
