At 07:45am we will depart from the hotel to visit Pearl Harbor located in the southwestern part of Oahu, Hawaii. Pearl Harbor overlooks the USS Arizona Memorial, which was sunk by the Japanese army, as well as USS Missouri. Afterwards, we will pass by the Hawaii State Capitol and the Pacific National Cemetery for Soldiers and Martyrs, which was closed to sightseeing vehicles after the 9/11 incident. We will pass through Chinatown and overlook the bronze statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. We will visit the bronze statue of the first king of Hawaii, Kamehameha, the King's Palace, and the city government building. Finally, we will visit the unique emeralds, black pearls, and red coral shops in Hawaii and return to the hotel around 12:00.

Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor, nestled at the lowest point of the plains between the Kolau and Waianae Mountains on Oahu's south coast, is a US Navy base and shipbuilding facility, and one of the largest and best safe harbors in the North Pacific. The Pearl Harbor attack occurred on the early morning of December 7, 1941, when Japanese Combined Fleet aircraft and midget submarines launched a surprise attack on the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor and US Army and Navy airfields on Oahu, Hawaii. We can see the Arizona Memorial, erected by the US government in 1980 on the wreck of the USS Arizona, to commemorate the painful lesson of that attack.

Hawaii State Capital

The Hawaii State Capitol, built in 1969, is a postmodernist architectural masterpiece by I.M. Pei, known for its unique style. The two conical legislative chambers represent Hawaii's volcanic roots, while the numerous supporting columns symbolize palm trees. The vast pool surrounding the open-air rotunda represents the Pacific Ocean surrounding the Hawaiian Islands.

Kamehameha Statue

The King Kamehameha statue is located in downtown Honolulu. The statue depicts King Kamehameha, draped in a feathered cape symbolizing royal authority, holding a spear in his left hand and extending his right hand in a gesture of welcome. King Kamehameha was the first king in Hawaiian history to unify the Hawaiian Islands. Of the fifty states in the United States, only Hawaii has ever been ruled by a king. It's no surprise, then, that the King Kamehameha statue has become a must-see attraction for visitors to Hawaii.

Iolani Palace

The ʻIolani Palace is located in the capitol district of downtown Honolulu. It is now a National Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After the monarchy was overthrown in 1893, the building was used as the capitol building for the Provisional Government, Republic, Territory, and State of Hawaii until 1969. The palace was then restored and opened to the public as a museum in 1978. An interesting fact to note is that the ʻIolani Palace is the only royal palace on US soil.

Join us on this beautiful day as we depart from the hotel! We will first pass by the world-famous-beach Waikiki Beach, to see the Diamond Head volcano! This beach is also a hotspot surf center that has spectacular sea views. Following that we will pass through the high-class residential area of Hara and stop at the Hanauma Bay. Shortly after, we will visit the natural wonders of the sea spring vents and pass by Sauna Beach. Here, we will overlook Rabbit Island and Turtle Island! Take a look as we pass by the White Beach, the Hawaiian National Reserve, and the Dafengkou Scenic Area. Finally, we will return to the hotel.

Waikiki Beach

Waikiki is a neighborhood of Honolulu on the south shore of the island of Oʻahu. Waikiki is most famous for Waikiki Beach, which is one of six beaches in the district, along with Queen's Beach, Kuhio Beach, Gray's Beach, Fort DeRussy Beach, and Kahanamoku Beach. 

Hālona Blowhole

On windy days when the tide is high, the ocean breeze sends the waves rolling onto the shore where the rock formation then shoots sea spray high into the air through the cave acting like a geyser. Today you will look at the Hālona blowhole. This blowhole is most active when the tide is high, and the winds are strong. It can even shoot sea sprays up to thirty feet high in the air.

Nuuanu Pali Lookout

Just a five-mile drive northeast of Downtown Honolulu is the Nuuanu Pali Lookout. It offers panoramic views of the sheer Koolau cliffs and lush Windward Coast. The Pali Lookout is also known for its strong and howling winds. You’ll understand why the Nuuanu Pali Lookout is one of Oahu’s best scenic points when you feel the wind pushing up against you. You can even hear the winds whistle through the mountains and see the breathtaking views of Oahu’s lush Windward Coast.

Big Circle Island Tour (optional)

Today at noon, we will depart from the hotel to visit the scenery on the northern shore of Oahu! First, we will view Temple Valley from afar and to the cemetery of Mr. Zhang Xueliang and Ms. Zhao Si during the Xi’an Incident. Following, we will go to the Volcano Bean Farm and to Kahuku Town! Here, you must try the special Hawaiian sweet shrimp dish meal. Take a glance as we pass Turtle Bay! Along the way you can enjoy the sunset beach on the northernmost part of Hawaii's north coast. The last stop will be the Dole Plantation. Here, you can visit the pineapple plantation in Hawaii or experience the world’s largest maze at your own expense. After the itinerary, we will arrive in Chinatown around 18:00 for dinner, and to the hotel at around 19:00.

We will depart from the hotel at 13:30 this afternoon and pass through the central mountain range of Oahu. We will walk north along the coastline and pass by: China Hat Island, Turtle Island and more! The sea view along the route is absolutely beautiful! Then, we will arrive at the 42- acre Great Polynesian Cultural Center. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a famous tourist and local attraction that waits just for you! It is the perfect place to gather and try authentic foods! After dinner we will watch a grand Hawaiian dance performance and a thrilling fire-swallowing performance composed of more than one hundred performers.

Valley of Temple

Nestled 610 meters above sea level in the lush Kolau Mountains, this Japanese-style temple was built in 1968, the first year of the Meiji era, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Hawaii. The Byodoin Temple in Hawaii is one-third the size of the main temple in Kyoto, Japan. This sacred Japanese temple fully adheres to the hallmarks of Japanese wooden architecture, employing no nails throughout, perfectly showcasing the natural beauty of wood. General Zhang Xueliang, protagonist of the Xi'an Incident, and his wife, Zhao Si, are both buried in this tranquil valley, offering a chance to pay homage to this legendary figure.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach on the North Shore is one of Hawaii's most famous sunset viewing spots. It's a surfer's paradise, hosting the World Surfing Championships every winter. At sunset, the beach offers many captivating sights: children building sandcastles, young men deliberately strolling past a line of girls, and so on.

Polynesian Cultural Center

Experience authentic indigenous culture at the renowned Polynesian Cultural Center, a must-see destination for an immersive cultural experience. The Polynesian Cultural Village is one of the most popular local attractions. Then follow us to take a visit to the Rainbow Fall, which is named after the rainbow often occurs on sunny days. Finally, we will go to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Ho'okipa Beach Park

Hookipa — it means “hospitality” in Hawaiian. Located miles away from the crowds, this pristine beach is nestled on the island's north shore alongside the Road To Hana. Thanks to its consistent winds, large waves, and sprawling reef system, this is one of the best locations in all of Hawaii for windsurfing. Modern-day surfing on Maui started here, at this beach just outside of the charming artsy town of Paia on Maui’s northern coastline.

Kepaniwai Park and Heritage Gardens

Kepaniwai Park and Heritage Gardens, adjacent to the Wailuku Stream, is a beautiful public park containing displays that honor the cultures that contributed to modern Maui. Among the interesting structures are an early-Hawaiian hale, a New England–style saltbox, a Portuguese-style villa with gardens, and dwellings from such other cultures as China and the Philippines. The park’s name harkens back to the infamous Battle of Kepaniwai in 1790 between Kamehameha I and Kahekili, king of Maui.

Maui Tropical Plantation

Maui Tropical Plantation is located in Waikapu, on the road heading from Kihei towards Lahaina. The property covers over 60 acres and is home to a wide variety of tropical plants, including crops being cultivated at the plantation including coffee, macadamia nuts, avocado, and papaya.

Kaanapali Beach

Kaanapali Beach is a landmark attraction on Maui Island. It has a 5-kilometer-long white sand beach and clear waters. It is a popular beach for tourists. Visitors can snorkel, swim, fish, surf and other activities here. Of course, you can also lie comfortably on the beach chairs and enjoy a leisurely time. The famous landscape on the beach is the diving ceremony held on the PuuKekaa on the north side of the beach. The divers will first light the torches placed along the cliffs, and then jump off the PuuKekaa. Tourists can watch this thrilling and exciting scene.

Nakalele Blowhole

Nakalele Blowhole is a 100-foot-tall natural fountain that gushes out like a geyser as the waves and tides surge. Nakalele is a popular tourist attraction on Maui, and you can see it from a safe distance with just a short hike. It is known for its magnificent ocean power and unique environment, and is a must-see for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts.

Dragon's Teeth

Dragon's Teeth is a scenic spot and geological wonder located in the northwest. The place got its name from its unique rock formations that look like rows of dragon's teeth.

Kapalua Bay Villa

Richardson Ocean Park

Richardson Ocean Park is the black sand beach closest to Hilo. It is known to the locals as ‘Richardson’s’ and is the best choice for snorkeling on the East side of the Big Island. Richardson’s is part of a series of beach parks along Kalaniana’ole (south Hilo). If you take a close look at the sand on Richardson beach you will see that it is mostly made out of black lava sand! 

Rainbow Falls

The Rainbow Falls cascades 80 ft over a lava cave! Legend has it that it is home to the ancient Hawaiian goddess Hina, the goddess of the moon.
