The Lower Antelope Canyon is located in the north of Arizona, USA. It is formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of various erosion forces. Flash floods often flow into the canyon during the monsoon season. Due to the sudden increase in rainfall, the flow rate of the flash flood is quite fast. In addition, the narrow channel narrows the river channel, so the vertical erosion force is relatively large, forming the corridor at the bottom of the Lower Antelope Canyon and the hard and smooth edges on the valley wall that look like flowing water. There is no artificial lighting in the Lower Antelope Canyon. All visible light comes from the cracks at the top of the canyon. These lights are repeatedly refracted by the rock texture and enter the valley bottom, producing a dreamy and irregular color change. These colors are from deep to light, colorful and beautiful.

Opened in 1996 as the Stratosphere and rebranded in January 2020 after a USD 140 million renovation, the property has 2,427 rooms in three towers; the renovated Elevate, Elite and Select rooms measure 320-340 sq ft, with larger tower and grand suites available.
Dining ranges from the revolving Top of the World steakhouse in the tower to CHI Asian Kitchen, PT's Wings & Sports, the STRAT Cafe, Starbucks and a food court. The 80,000 sq ft casino, the seasonal Swim & Social rooftop pool and a 24-hour fitness centre are on site, and the SkyPod observation decks and thrill rides sit 108 floors up. A daily resort fee of USD 49.95 plus tax includes in-room Wi-Fi for 2 devices, fitness centre access and discounted tower entry. Check-in 15:00, check-out 11:00; no airport shuttle.
