We then confirm availability, usually within 24 hours, and update your booking status — if we cannot confirm your reservation, your deposit is refunded in full. JEN Kunming occupies floors 7 to 17 of Shangri-La Group's dual-brand tower at 88 Dongfeng East Road in Panlong District, in the commercial heart of Kunming; Tuodong Stadium station on metro Line 3 is a two-minute walk, and the Green Lake and Kunming Old Street areas are a short taxi ride away. The 274 rooms opened in 2024 and include duplex loft rooms and connecting family rooms, all with smart room controls and free Wi-Fi.
OpenHouse Café Bar serves the breakfast buffet and an all-day menu of local and pan-Asian dishes, and SUMA Bar has a cocktail list designed with the Singapore team behind an Asia's 50 Best bar. Guests can use the rooftop-style pool, free fitness room and spa. Parking is free with EV charging.
The hotel sits beside the Erhai lakeshore road (Huanhai West Road) at Xiamo South Village, roughly 6 km from Dali Old Town, 7 km from the Cangshan cableways and about 10 km from Dali Airport. The grounds cover more than 200,000 sq m of gardens, ponds, pavilions and bridges, and the roughly 300 rooms mix modern interiors with traditional Naxi architectural details; many look towards Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Haosheng Ge Chinese restaurant serves Sichuan and Yunnan dishes, the Starlight all-day restaurant does the buffet breakfast and dinner, and the Art Gallery lobby lounge offers afternoon tea, cocktails, pizza and barbecue.
